On Wednesday May 15th, about 20 sixth- and seventh-graders from the Camp Verde campus spent part of their morning picking up trash along a 3/4 mile stretch of Finnie Flat Road, starting at State Route 260 and ending at the Maverik gas station.

Married for 43 years, Helen and her husband Gregg have 10 children, between the ages 20 and 41. Two of their children still live in the Verde Valley. The others are either away at college or in other parts of the country, building families of their own.

Stephen "Pista" Nasser was thirteen years old when the Nazis whisked him and his entire family away from Hungary to the terrors Auschwitz and Muhldorf concentration camps. He was the only survivor from a family of 21.
